A Brief History...
Wrestling was the original powerhouse team in the 1980's on the campus of Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Unfortunately, Title IX eliminated this epic team and ended the legacy of wrestling at LC. Until 2009, the wrestlers of the Lynchburg College community remained in the shadows. A local Lynchburg resident and Brookville High School graduate, Travis Marshall, decided that it was time to take action. That same year, Marshall created the Lynchburg College Wrestling Club. A few months later, the team was already nationally recognized by the National Collegiate Wrestling Association and has become one of the most well-known groups on the campus. The time has come for Lynchburg College Wrestling to make it's return to the mats and begin the legacy all over again.
